Solar Panels

However, the advantages of solar panels continue to outweigh the disadvantages. Realistic large-scale solar panel coverage could result in less than half a degree of local warming, far less than the several degrees of global temperature rise predicted over the next century if fossil fuels are burned.

ELECTRIC CARS

Contributions to overall pollution are nearly zero. An electric car emits no greenhouse gases because it is powered by a battery and does not use fuel internally. It also necessitates fewer of the more hazardous, contaminating liquids, such as engine oil and coolant fluids. Even when electricity is generated, an electric car emits no tailpipe emissions, significantly reducing smog and greenhouse gas emissions. Cleaner cars imply cleaner air and improved health.

WINDMILL

Wind energy generation produces no carbon emissions. Wind energy can reduce carbon emissions by replacing electricity generated from other sources, such as fossil fuel power plants. The main benefits include an unlimited, free, renewable resource (the wind itself), economic value, maintenance costs, and wind harvesting facility placement. To begin with, wind is an infinite, free, and renewable resource.

I'There is too much carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, which is warming our planet. What if we could capture it and confine it? That is the premise of Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS), an emerging class of technologies poised to play an important role in our planet's health in the coming decades. According to the CCS Association, capture technologies allow the separation of carbon dioxide from gases produced in electricity generation and industrial processes by one of three methods: pre-combustion capture, post-combustion capture, and oxyfuel combustion. The carbon is transported by pipeline and stored in rock formations thousands of feet underground.
